workshops


These classes are for all ages and last for 1.5 to 2 hours. The focus of the workshops is to celebrate the season and delve deeper into a theme that relates to the fresh produce available at the time. The workshop structure is the same as that of a weekly class and the class size is dependent upon the ages of the students.

COLUMBUS DAY FALL HARVEST 

Monday October 14, 2013
Class 1: 11 - 1PM Ages 4 - 8

Class 2: 1:30 - 3:30PM Ages 9 - 14
Cost: $60

Children will work with the Fall bounty to create dishes they will love. Each child will bring home their creation to share with their loved ones

HALLOWEEN COOKING PARTY 

Sunday October 27, 2013
Class 1: 11 - 1PM Ages 4 - 8

Class 2: 1:30 - 3:30PM Ages 9 - 14
Cost: $55

Come in costume. Students will make a unique Halloween treat and enjoy festive food related games. Each child will bring home their treates to share with their loved ones.

THANKSGIVING DINNER

Class 2: 1:30 - 3:30PM Ages 9 - 14
Cost: $75

Yes - they can do it. Students will make a full Thanksgiving meal and sit down to enjoy it with their classmates. Just think of it as training for the big day.

HOLIDAY WARMTH

Cost: $60

Back by popular demand, the students really love making homemade marshmallows and hot chocolate from local Jacques Torres chocolate. Oh yes, these goodies are definitely getting shared at home.

Private Workshops can also be booked for up to 8 children for $550.
